Automatic relearn procedure for vehicles with and without iDrive:

With iDrive

Set the tyre pressure to placard pressure
Read all sensor IDs
Turn ignition to ON (engine off)
Press MENU
Open the iDrive menu
Select SETTINGS or VEHICLE INFO > VEHICLE/TYRES > TPM or Perform Reset
Start the engine
Select RESET > YES
Drive. The tyres are shown in grey and RESETTING TPM appears
NOTE: When initialization is complete, STATUS: TPM ACTIVE will be displayed

Without iDrive

Set the tyre pressure to placard pressure
Read all sensor IDs
Start the engine
Move turn signal lever ↑↓ until TPMS warning symbol and RESET appear
Press 2
Press 2 again until CHECK/TICK appears after RESETTING
